Music by Dmitri Shostakovich and Robert Schumann offers a mix of drama, warmth, and lyrical beauty, while Sergei Rachmaninoff’s beloved Vocalise stands out with its unforgettable, song-like melody.

The concert concludes with music from “Four Cities” by Fazıl Say, inspired by Turkish cities and with clear influences from both folk traditions and jazz.
