Release concert: Benjamin Rajani

In November 2026, Benjamin Rajani’s new album Onkustaðni er ein viðarlund will be released — an album featuring 10 Faroese songs that explore what it means to be young in today’s society, with its increasing individualisation and pressures. The songs also touch on the themes of suffering, discovering who you are and what you want in life, faith, and finding your own path through it all.

As part of the release, there will be an album launch concert at Varpið, where the new album will be performed with a full band. Some of the well-known songs from the first album, Tá hvørt ljós líkist tær — which received 10 stars in KVF’s Kvørnin and was nominated for “Album of the Year” at the FMA 2025 — will also be performed.

Ticket sales will start in October.
