Anfinn & Co. at Varpið during Norðoyastevna

Exactly 40 years ago, the first music release by the band Anfinn & Co. saw the light of day at Norðoyastevna.
The cassette, which at the time was the most common format, was titled “Hví”.

With strong musical support from the band Hjarnar, several songs became true local hits, including “Vælkomin heim”, “Lítli Fuglur”, “Útsalg”, and more.

Since then, the following releases have appeared:

• “TÍ” in 1992

• “Betur Seint enn álvara” in 1997

• “Rótasúpan” in 2008

In connection with their 40th anniversary, Anfinn & Co. will take the stage at Norðoyastevna on May 29.

The lineup for the evening is well-known in the music scene. They are the classic veterans and friends from Hjarnar, which promises a memorable evening of music.
